FTCI inaugurates new office in Bengaluru

Bengaluru 9 Nov: FTCI inaugurated today its new office, staff quarter, guesthouse and conference hall. The inauguration program began with Sangsoel (fire puja) led by monks from Tashi Lhunpo monastery.

As many as 100 guests from different organizations and institutes attended the function.

Members of Tibetan Parliament in Bengaluru and Bylakuppe, Chief Representative, South Zone Bengaluru and Settlement Officers of southern settlements were some of the dignitaries who were present at the inaugural program.

After the ribbon cutting at FTCI office entrance by the Chief Guest Mr Gyari Bhutuk, Tibetan parliamentarian and guests started offering scarves at HH the Dalai Lama’s portrait. The function then started at the conference hall on the top floor with the welcome address by FTCI CEO Tashi Wangdu la.

Mr Pema Delek, FTCI Chairman then addressed the function in elaborate manner on Tibetan cooperatives movement, purpose of starting FTCI, current status of FTCI and Tibetan cooperatives and its future plan.

Tibetan parliamentarians then unveiled Tibet Infotech Solution and launched Nyamdel documentary movie. Facilitation of FTCI’s partners and associates were also done during the function.

Before the end of the inaugural program, students from Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Education and Tibet Youth Hostel Bangalore staged Tibetan cultural dances and songs, which brought joy of festivity and entertainment for the guests.
