TDL Co-operative inaugurates its new office building

Bylakuppe 18 Mar:  Tibetan Dekyilarsoe Co-operative Society’s head office building was inaugurated today at 10 am by Dunsey Rinpoche of TDL settlement. The inaugural function was attended by Lugsam settlement officer, TDL settlement officer, FTCI Chairman, FTCI CEO, BRDL Chairman, FTCI Board members & staff, TDL camps leaders, head of various organizations among others.

Following the serving of sweat rice and butter tea, the Co-operative Chairman, Mr Tenzin Norbu briefed about the expenditure incurred on construction of office building and expressed his thanks to contractor Mr Suresh for taking charge of construction and Board Member Mr Phuntsok for taking additional responsibilities of looking after construction of office building. They both were then offered a momento from the hand of 2 settlement officers.

All the former board members of the society made their presence in inaugural function. The society has incurred expenses on construction of office building entirely from its own fund without depending on outside donors.

TDL co-operative society was established in the year 1969. The society has 1907 share members. Some of its activities include agriculture section, handicraft section, school bus, community hall, Tibetan Feeds, consumer service section and so on.
