Kasur Gyari Dolma appointed as Advisor to FTCI

Bangalore 3rd March : Kasur Gyari Dolma, former Kalon in the 14th Kashag for the Department of Home, Central Tibetan Administration, was appointed as advisor of FTCI.

Ms Gyari was born on 25th May 1964 in Darjeeling. She studied at Central School for Tibetan, Darjeeling and graduated in 1981.

Ms Gyari has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Punjab University, Chandigarh. After graduation, she studied for three years at the Campus Law Centre, Delhi University.

She served on TYC’s Central Executive Committee as Information Secretary from 1986-1989 and as Joint Secretary from 1989-1991.

She was elected to the Eleventh, Twelfth, Thirteenth and Fourteen Assembly of Tibetan People’s Deputies (ATPD) from 1991 to 2011 and was the Vice-Chair Person for the 14th ATPD.

In the view of her vast experience and knowledge in the field of administration, FTCI Board of Directors and General Body Members through a unanimous resolution approved to appoint former Kalon to the post of advisor to guide FTCI.
