FTCI concludes workshop to board of directors of Tibetan Cooperatives

Bylakuppe 7 June:  FTCI concluded today its 2-day training program (6th-7th June) to board of directors of 7 Tibetan cooperative societies at TDL settlement, Bylakuppe. The training was organized by FTCI with an objective of enabling board members in executing their duties and powers effectively, in accordance the cooperative society’s acts and rules. As many as 37 board members from Delar, Lugsam, Kollegal, Hunsur, Mundgod, Ravangla and Tezu Tibetan settlement cooperative societies attended the program. Many of them are first time elected board members.

Bye-law of Tibetan co-operative societies, Karnataka Co-operative Societies Acts & Rules, and Budget were some of the sessions covered during the training program. Sessions were taken mostly by Mr CN Parashivamurthy, Additional Cooperative Registrar Retd.  FTCI Chairman introduced on background and evolution of Tibetan Cooperatives and FTCI CEO spoke on budget and Tibetan cooperative’s byelaw.

After the training sessions, trainee’s feedbacks on the training were gathered with an objective of giving better training program in future.

FTCI organises capacity building program for to the staff and board members of member societies and FTCI from its own fund.
