FTCI 4th quarter Board Meeting held at Bangalore

FTCI 4th Quarter Board Member Meeting for the year 2016-17 was held at FTCI head office in Bangalore on 29th and 30th March 2017.

Budget of FTCI and its units for the year 2017-18 was the main discussion during the meeting.

Also discussed in the meeting was financial position of FTCI and its units from 1st April 2016 to 31st December 2016. Budget Reappropriation and Special Budget proposal for the year 2016-17 were also a part of discussion. Thorough discussion on administrative and policy matters for the betterment of the organisation was also made.

During the meeting, the board of directors expressed strong concern about security of HH the Dalai Lama, following the expression of resentment by ULFA leader at His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s proposed visit to Arunachal Pradesh. The board of directors sought advice and guidance from Department of Security, CTA on assistance that FTCI and Tibetan Co-operatives in North East India can provide to ensure the safety and security of HH the Dalai Lama.

FTCI Board of Director meeting is held every quarter and it is mostly held at FTCI Head Office Bangalore.
